Walking Dead Season 3 To Serve Up New Governor Villain, New Spoiler
According to a recent report from Collider, AMC’s hit show is bringing on a fan favorite, villain from the comic book, The Governor, to heat things up in the new season 3,and he’s going to be played by actor David Morrissey. His acting resume includes appearances in: State of Play, Meadowlands, and The Deal.
In the comic books the Governor is a dastardly villain that runs runs a settlement in Woodbury with a stern hand, and he’s going to give Rick and the crew some extra trouble. Also, the 3rd season is going to serve up 16 episodes instead of just 13,so that’s real good news.
Producer Robert Kirkman told TV Guide, ” The Governor in the show is definitely going to be The Governor in the comic. I think that he’s definitely going to be a character that people love to hate and are absolutely entertained by, but also somewhat terrified of.
He’s definitely going to be a very important character and a very nuanced character. We are not going to be watering him down.” Sounds interesting. Season 3 premieres in October. Stay tuned. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here. Follow us on Twitter by Clicking Here.
